- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and submit tax returns and other statutory filings in a timely manner.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to improve financial performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective financial management.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of financial transactions.
- Continuously improve accounting processes and procedures, and contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance department.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance or a related field.
- At least 3 years of proven experience as an Accountant.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and integrated systems.
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
- Good database management skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
- Knowledge of Omani accounting standards and regulations is a plus.
