The Organization:

Our client is a 100% Omani owned company operating in several sectors including Energy, Infrastructure, Transportation & HVAC and encompassing these sectors with various business units providing solutions to Oil & Gas, Power, Fire & Security, Vehicle Monitoring Systems, & Trading.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Our client is hiring an experienced HSE Manager from Oil & Gas industry, to develop and manage the HSE Management Systems and Policies and to provide functional support to all departments and ensure compliance of HSE in all aspects.

Main tasks:

· Responsiblefor the CorporateHSEbusiness strategy and initiatives;

· Developing and implementing annual HSE objectives & improvement plans;

· Responsible to identify risk on Manpower, Asset and Business Aspects;

· Responsible for continually maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledgeandpreparednessacrossthecompanytocreateaculturethat prioritizeseffectiveHSE and balancesoverallassociatedcosts;

· Serveasthecorporate expertwithinthefield ofHSEwhencalled uponto addressregulatory agencycomplianceissues, thirdparty safety &liability consultantsandsubcontractor representatives;

· Responsible for developing Training Matrix, Program & Campaign in order to create safety culture among team;

· Devise,supervise,andcoordinatetrainingprogramsormediawhichwill increase proficiencyinsafe practices andpromoteHSEconsciousness for HQ Staff & Site Team;

· Categories HSE Violations and Escalate Major Violations to Top Management;

· Assist management team in investigation of all incidents (RecordableIncidents,NearMissandFirstAid)andensureproper recordsarecompletedandsubmitted; Assistinimplementationofcorrective actions ;in relation to the incident and ensure “lessonslearned”are communicatedand are ;incorporated into the program,ifnecessary;

· Addressspecificreportingandrecordkeepingrequirementsofregulatorycompliancemattersandto ensure projectsites are incompliance;

· ContractprovisionsofHSEaremetinfull–ImplementtheHealth,Safety andEnvironmentPlanrelatedtotheProject;

· Conduct unscheduled unsafe act audits on Workshops, Projects, office & Stores;

· Responsibleforconducting Quarterly Internal HSE audits across business units;

· Responsible for external HSEauditsandinspections,identifying NCR and rectificationsinliaisewithconcern team;

· Implementation and monitoring of Corporate level Safety Management System ISO 45001:2018;

· Identify and train HSE supervisors and Division HSE Heads;

Skills & Competencies:

· Excellent ability to organize and prioritize workload;

· Ability to find the root cause of problem and solve it;

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to work, provide advice, train and promote excellence in Health and Safety all staff;

· Specialist in regards to Risk Assessments;

;

Education & Qualifications:

· Bachelors in Engineering;

· Degree/Diploma in Industrial Safety Standard;

· Preferably certified in NEBOSH IGC (IGC 1,2 & 3) or Diploma in NEBOSH;

· Lead Auditor in ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018;

· Completed Accident Investigation Course;

· Minimum experience 10 years, 5 - 6 Years'' experience as HSE Manager working with senior management (mandatory);

· Experience in Oil & Gas industry highly preferred;

· Completed First Aider Course (AED);

· H2S Course with PDO Passport preferred.
