Job titleSnr Specialist SustainabilityGradeStreamOQ RPIFunctionPTC - PTC Strategy & Sustainability - SustainabilityLocationOman - SuharBudget control*OPEX and/or CAPEX and/or Revenue amount as relevant*Reporting toManager of SustainabilityDirect reports0Job purpose:Drive / executes Sustainability evaluation, ESG data governance and impact assessment under Manager Sustainability scopes, acting as a key team contributor for RPI Business Unit in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), through: (1) Supporting Manager Sustainability in day-to-day internal and external ESG stakeholder interactions across RPI, (2) Executing assigned Sustainability Evaluation and ESG data assurance processes end-to-end, and (3) Executing assigned tasks for ESG assessment, data validation and reporting processes at RPI; in order to support the team in ensuring structured coordination, credible ESG information and effective service to RPI internal stakeholders.The position will act in accordance with the Group's Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines, and standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani's government & other legal jurisdiction, and best international practices in consonance. with national objectives.Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Monitor the performance of the OQ RPI Sustainability Dashboard, analyze ESG data and provide management with insights on risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Review sustainability (ESG) records to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with specified requirements and recognized standards.
  • Oversee work performed by relevant contractors and consultants to ensure quality, alignment, and value delivery.
  • Support RPI contributions to OQ Group annual sustainability reporting requirements and lead development of the RPI annual sustainability report.
  • Develop sustainability awareness and capability-building initiatives across relevant OQ RPI functions and departments.
  • Contribute to the development of sustainability-related projects, initiatives, and strategic programs.
  • Support the implementation, administration, documentation, and communication of the Sustainability Performance Management Framework at RPI.
  • Prepare sustainability and ESG-related reports, ensuring alignment with international reporting standards and social impact measurement practices.
  • Develop and support evaluation of ESG risk assessment measures in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor sustainability performance, highlight improvement opportunities, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated with emerging sustainability trends, frameworks, and best practices to support ongoing maturity enhancement.
  • Support actions that promote reduced environmental footprint and sustainable resource management.

  • 6-8 years of experience.
  • Experience contributing to ESG reporting, sustainability governance, or performance management activities in corporate or industrial environments
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/ or and/or education/training in areas related to sustainability, ESG assessment, or environmental / social performance evaluation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sustainability and ESG topics, reporting frameworks, and performance requirements.
  • Ability to evaluate business plans, sustainability indicators, and ESG performance trends.
  • Proven capability in developing structured sustainability / ESG reports, dashboards, and analytical insights.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in implementing sustainability frameworks, governance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Exposure to change management environments and sustainability maturity development is an advantage.
