- Develop and review process engineering deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, material balances, and process calculations.
- Conduct equipment sizing, hydraulic analysis, and process system assessments.
- Support preparation of operating philosophies, control narratives, and process design documents.
- Ensure process designs meet engineering standards, project specifications, and operational criteria.
- Identify routine design gaps and propose solutions for senior engineer review and approval.
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines to ensure process requirements are understood and integrated.
- Participate in design review meetings, model reviews, and technical workshops.
- Provide process input for procurement packages, vendor evaluations, and design clarifications.
- Review contractor-submitted process documents for accuracy, completeness, and technical soundness.
- Ensure deviations and design changes are documented and follow proper approval channels.
- Assist in updating internal process standards, datasheets, and engineering guidelines.
- Conduct internal checks and validations on calculation packages and design documents.
- Provide technical support during construction, installation, and testing of process systems.
- Review commissioning and start-up documentation and provide input where required.
- Participate in FAT/SAT activities for process equipment in alignment with process requirements.
- Support resolution of technical queries from site teams and ensure alignment with design intent.
- Review vendor drawings, design data, and technical documentation related to process equipment.
- Coordinate with contractors and consultants to address process-related technical issues.
- Attend coordination meetings and contribute to resolving multi-discipline design interfaces.
- Prepare calculation sheets, engineering reports, and technical notes aligned with project needs.
- Maintain organized and accessible process documentation ensuring traceability.
- Provide routine progress updates and identify potential issues requiring escalation.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or equivalent discipline.
- Minimum 15 years' experience in piping engineering within LNG, petrochemical, or refinery projects, including EPC delivery environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical reviews, manage contractor interfaces, and make sound engineering decisions impacting safety, cost, and schedule.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge EPC contractors constructively and drive technical compliance.
