Position: Accounts Payable Section Head
Support the Finance Manager/ Financial Controller in business operations. Supervise booking of liabilities and payment process.
Review of accruals, provisions, advances to suppliers, sundry creditors, and retentions.
Coordinate opening process of letter of credits, letter of guarantees and follow up with the banks for payments. Coordinate with suppliers and other departments to solve invoices/ payments related issues. Coordinate with internal & external audits and to report progress against audit findings related to accounts payable section. Other duties, as assigned.
Experience / Qualification & Skills needed:
Undergraduate university degree in Finance or Accounts. Professional qualification like ACCA, CPA is desirable.
Up to 8+ years business experience in accounting, along with experience working with Oracle based financial systems.
Experience in handling closing of financial accounts, especially in the area of accounts payable. Strong communications skills are needed, particularly written and spoken English and strong interpersonal skills.
Good listening skills needed along with well-developed report writing abilities. Must be computer literate, with working knowledge of word, excel and power point.
