Job DescriptionJob Title: Data Digitization, Conversion and Migration - DCM ConsultantLocation: Sultanate of OmanPosition OverviewThe role seeks a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Collection, digitization, Cleansing, and Migration Specialist to join and work with the project team. This role requires a deep understanding of data management principles, proficiency in data digitization and cleansing techniques, and expertise in data migration strategies. It requires understanding business requirements and develop the data models required and efficiently handle the volumes of data being migrated. The role requires combination of coordination, business process knowledge with know-how of data conversion and migration.The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end process of acquiring, digitizing, cleansing, and migrating data to the target system. The candidate will work closely with the client, application experts and consultants as well as technical experts. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring overall client satisfaction in order to deliver the Data Conversion and Migration activities.Roles and Responsibilities * Data Collection and Cleansing:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and sources.
Collaborate with IT teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure successful data integration.
Develop and implement data collection strategies to ensure comprehensive and accurate data acquisition.
Utilize various data collection methods, including spreadsheet, API integration, and manual data entry.
Collaborate with IT teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure successful data integration.
Identify and rectify inconsistencies, errors, and inaccuracies in the existing data sets.
Implement data cleansing procedures to ensure data quality and integrity.
Work closely with stakeholders to validate and verify data accuracy.
Plan and execute data migration projects, ensuring a smooth transition of data from one system to another.
Develop and implement migration scripts and tools to automate the process.
Collaborate with IT and other teams to minimize downtime and ensure data consistency during migration.
Establish and enforce data governance policies to maintain data quality standards.
Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.

Key Performance Indicators

100% compliance with data quality criteria: Perform the DCM activities as per the quality requirements in the process of migration to the target system.
100% Customer Satisfaction by delivering successful and smooth migration of the required data from the source systems to the target system.
Knowledge transfer through on the job training to the team members and client side team.
