Flowline Welding / Pipeline Installation, Piping Installation, structural works.Criteria of the position:
Shall have prior experience in O&G Industry in Oman and preferably approved by PDO.QC Inspector (Welding) - Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. CSWIP 3.1 / AWS Certified Welding Inspector and ASNT Level II Certification in RT, UT, LPT & MPT. Shall have O&G experience.Job Description:
Ensure implementation of the applicable QA/QC Procedures, QC Plans and Work Instruction pertaining to Welding activities. Receipt inspection of materials, consumables, carryout of welder qualification, and procedure qualifications, inspect & interpret weld joints, raise NDE request and assess NDE results, provide coating clearance, prepare Quality records for the activities, witness hydrotest and drying. Non-conformance Management and training for the workforce.The candidate will be selected subject to client interview/approval.
