  • Perform comprehensive financial analysis and due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including stocks, bonds, real estate, and other financial instruments. This involves assessing market trends, economic conditions, and industry factors to determine the value of assets, and assessing their overall viability.
  • Develop, maintain, and review complex financial models to forecast cash flows, revenue projections, expenses, and capital requirements for existing and potential investments.
  • Analyze and interpret financial statements, company reports, and economic trends to provide accurate financial forecasts and investment recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the asset management team to conduct regular assessments of the company's existing portfolio and assess new prospects.
  • Present valuation and financial assessment findings, investment proposals, and strategic recommendations to executive management and the board of directors in a clear and concise manner.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation to support investment decision-making processes.
  • Lead the execution of investment opportunities and manage the due diligence process, starting from initial screening to the realization of the investment opportunity.
  • Continuously monitoring the performance of investments and conducting regular reviews to assess whether they meet expected outcomes. Making necessary adjustments to investment strategies based on performance data.
  • Monitoring market trends, industry advancements, and competitive landscapes meticulously to formulate well-informed investment recommendations.
  • Collaborate with executive management, stakeholders, and other departments within the organization to develop investment strategies aligned with the company's strategic objectives and risk profile.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on the optimal capital structure, return on investment (ROI), and risk management strategies for investment decisions.
  • Identify, evaluate, and assess potential investment risks and uncertainties, considering both internal and external factors.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and stress-testing scenarios to safeguard the company's investments and financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines, accounting standards, and industry best practices in valuation and investment analysis.
  • Monitoring evolving regulatory landscape and effectuating requisite adaptations to valuation methodologies.
  • Provide mentorship and training to team members, ensuring their continuous professional development.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in finance or any equivalent degree required.
  • Professional certificates such as CFA, CPA, CIA, ACCA or equivalent are preferable.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience including investment valuation, and financial modeling.
  • Industry experience is preferable.
  • Experience with valuation of illiquid or complex instruments.
  • Familiarity with investment performance measurement and attribution.
  • Knowledge of risk management principles in investment valuation.
